I had tons of fun in the grand staircase piece :D Highly inspired by the Grand Opera in Paris. (Hopefully one day I get to visit in person!) The other two pieces are from the same class too, leaning more towards fantasy worlds.

A quick career map for Business101 class. I had waaaaaaay too much fun with the graphics hahaa. The idea is to map out your goals in life at a certain age. Some of the goals are real, some are made up ;p

Long Beach, right outside the Aquarium of the Pacific. So nice to just breath in the salty air :) I did this while waiting for a class to come.

Treehouse for the kids (and cats)-Jonas and June are siblings born to a family of anthropologists. They grew up curious about everything, and would collect everything to study. They spend most of their time hunting out in the woods behind the house, and coming back sorting out things in their treehouse. Their mother would always need to come out and drag them back into their house for meals. -
I had so much fun dressing this piece with stuffs everywhere! Oh, look for the cats, they are everywhere too ;)

A Greek Playground
-
These designs are part of a term-long project from Attraction & Exhibit Design, with Mark Shumate, from Summer 2013.

My idea on this theme park is based on The Iliad and The Odyssey by Homer. The Greek Playground is a family friendly theme park, divided into three main parts—Mount Olympus, Earth and the Underworld. There will be rides like the Trojan Horse Carousel, Odysseus Shipwreck, Persephone Ferris Wheel, Gates of Hades, Hephaistos Plunge, situated in respective parts of the Greek world. Each part has a Greek theatre with epic live shows of each respective world. The famous ones being The Trojan Horse Ambush, and Sirens, the musical. Aside from the rides and shows, The Greek Playground has a quieter area, equipped with a library and park, for visitors to experience a more relaxing Greek playground.

These are my family’s names (Dad, Mum, Brother, Sister-in-law-to-be, and me) love, Qing :)
